I set off to wander round Guildford with the hubs and in-laws in tow. As per usual, after a few minutes wandering, I found myself in a bookstore cafe enjoying a lovely tomato, basil, and mozzarella sandwich and a warm cuppa. Afterwards, I took to browsing the cookery section where I picked up two new titles:
The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook - by: Tarek Malouf & the Hummingbird Bakers
Terre a Terre: The Vegetarian Cookbook - by: Amanda Powley & Philip Taylor
I'll write more on these lovelies in a later post...
3:30 rolled around and it was into the kitchen. Apron on. Jarvis on the beeb6 (yes, my cooking should be sponsored by BBC6 music). Today's menu called for the help of two AMAZING Vegan Cookbooks:
Both Written By: Isa Chandra Moskowitz & Terry Hope Romero
Being the wife of a vegan (and a veggie myself), I'm trying not to limit my time in the kitchen to the sole dedication of "veg only" treats. It's nice to cook the boy some sweeties he can eat every now and then. So my verdict is: these books are a godsend.

Right, it's time for some nibbles.
